Frequently Asked Questions

Herbs
Q. Do you offer Nutrition only consultations?
A. At this stage, I offer one type of consultation and this is both Naturopathy and Nutrition combined.

Q. Do you write meal plans?
A. I personally don't write meal plans.
However, all of my patients receive dietary recommendations, some recipes and a general idea of what they should and shouldn't eat, based on evidence and specifically tailored to their individual needs, as a part of their treatment plan.

Q. Do you offer testing?
A. As natural health practitioners, we have access to hundreds of tests. These are always at an additional cost and are sent away for, not done during consultation.

Q. How much are initial appointments?
A. Please refer to Book A Service for more information on pricing and to book.

Q. Am I eligible for a private health rebate with your services?
A. Unfortunately, as of April 2019 private health rebates are no longer available for Naturopaths. If you hold a valid concession , student or seniors card, reach out before booking for a discount code.

Q. What types of things can Naturopathy treat?
A. Naturopathy can treat and manage a wide array of things, ranging from acute to chronic.
If you're unsure if I can help with something specific, please feel free to email me.

Q. What if I am using prescription medication from my doctor?
A. This is totally fine. As registered practitioners we have access to many resources to check drug/herb/nutrient interactions, ensuring we are always taking extra measures to do what's best for you as a patient.

Q. I would love an appointment but the available times aren't right for me.
A. Because I offer only remote Skype, Zoom, FaceTime and phone consultations. If the days listed don't suit your, send me an email and I can try and work around your schedule.

Q. If I don't see you in person, how will I get my prescribed medicines?
A. The good news is, all products can be posted to your nominated address and you can choose express or regular post depending on how fast you would like them. Alternatively, you may collect them from either South Melbourne, Melbourne CBD or Carnegie.

Q. How many follow up appointments will I need?
A. The amount of follow up appointments needed depends on how you are going with treatment. We will generally be able to work this out after 2 or 3 appointments.

Q. Which payment methods do you accept?
A. Telehealth appointments must be paid for at the time of booking and can be made via card payment, paypal, afterpay or bank transfer. You will be prompted upon booking to select.
